Meet this month's Leading Line Lady

Jenna Ritter, FL

Hi! I’m Jenna Ritter. I’m a Florida Native AKA Florida Cracker, born and raised! My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married for about 7. We have one son, Aaron, who is 14. My husband stepped up as an amazing dad and adopted him a few years ago. 

I’m a Senior Family Law Paralegal. I love my job and being able to help families through such hard times. When I am not working, I am most likely found in 3 places - a baseball field, a mud hole (we love to Muck it up!) or glued to my computer doing Foundation work. 

I was blessed to be a part of helping create LineLife Foundation - a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation which assists linemen and families in times of need after a work related accident. I am one of the four Directors and have been with them since day 1! We created this amazing thing in early 2018! Due to the unfortunate amount of accidents these last few years, we are definitely very busy! It’s a lot of work, but I’m so blessed to be able to help these families. Myself, along with three other Directors, dedicate all of our time (whether it’s free time or not) to make sure these families are taken care of. We are not paid. We are volunteers! Our payment literally comes in the form of a simple “thank you” which is priceless! 

Being a LineWife isn’t easy. It’s long days and nights without seeing my husband. It’s being Mom and Dad at the baseball field. It’s not knowing if I am cooking dinner for 2 or 3 people every night - if I cook. 

It’s saying a prayer every time he walks out the door and thanking God every time he walks back in. People ask the famous question we all hear, “how do you do it?!” And the answer is, “I couldn’t imagine a life any other way.” I’m proud of my hardworking husband and what he does for our family. Together we are an amazing team.
