Bucket Bunnies, Linemen, and Linewives

The old Bucket Bunnies are after my Lineman tale. Yes, they’re out there! Not every Lineman is a cheating no good man. That goes for the wives too! It goes BOTH ways!

Are there good people out there, absolutely.

Is there crappy, disgusting cruel people out there? YES!

SO much lately on Bucket Bunnies that it makes my head spin. Why are they getting the attention? Why are the guys ALSO not being to blame? Let’s get something straight. No matter the profession there will always be cheating or a bucket bunny of some sort.

I have a great man. Been together 12 years. It hasn’t been easy. Honestly, we almost called it quits. But in the end, we BOTH chose to work together to build our relationship and grow together. It takes work. It takes GRIT. It takes TIME & TRUST. Lots of open communication when you don’t want to be open. Honesty when you least want to be honest. Trusting one another to make the right choice. The love that is intertwined through the years is special.

There is so much negativity about Linemen. They get a bad rap just because of a few jerks. Many of them are great men. Men who would go to the ends of the earth for their families & friends. Line wives now have a bad wrap too. Social media has coined us as crazy women. We’re a bunch of amazing and strong women! We’re not crazy, were passionate! We love our families and our men! We know what they put on the line for us and the world. How many times must we answer, “Oh what team does your husband play for?” The general public has NO IDEA all the stress, demand, and hard work they do!

For the ladies who say, “I’ll never identify with my husband’s job….” That’s great. THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE CRUEL TO THOSE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT THEIR HUSBANDS DO! Stop being a part of the problem & the hate! Don’t bully those who don’t think like YOU! Being cruel will never look good on you.

All in all, there are a BUNCH of stand-up Linemen who are fantastic fathers, boyfriends, and husbands. Don’t believe everything you read in the media. Remember negativity SELLS! Line wives are a fantastic, down to earth group that will whip you up the best pumpkin pie you’ve ever had or go to bat for you when you need them the most. We are a different breed of women. Just as pipeline wives, welding wives, and so many more blue-collar job wives!
